Getting Started: The Original
The Original is Prima’s flagship premix system — fully self-contained with a built-in 14-gallon tank. No buckets to manage. Just fill the tank, connect, and bathe.

No external water supply needed. The Original is fully self-contained. Fill the built-in tank directly and the machine handles the rest. The 14-gallon tank is large enough for multiple refills during long grooming days without interruption.
Fill the Tank
Open the Tank Lid
Locate the tank lid on the top of the machine. Open it to access the 14-gallon reservoir.
Add Your Premix Solution
The Original uses a premix system — water and shampoo are combined directly in the tank before use. Add water first, then add shampoo at your preferred dilution ratio. Stir or swirl to combine.
Close and Secure the Lid
Close the tank lid securely before operating the machine.
Connect the Spray Wand
Attach the Wand Hose
Connect the flexible wash hose to the WAND port on the machine. Push firmly until it seats — tug lightly to confirm it is secure.
Attach the Nozzle
Thread the fan cone nozzle onto the spray wand. Hand-tighten only — do not over-tighten.
Power On
Plug In
Connect the power cord to the rear of the machine and plug into a GFCI outlet.
Switch On
Turn the machine on. The pump will be ready to deliver your premix solution to the wand.
Priming the System
Prime the Line
Press the trigger on the wand to let air purge from the line. Loosen the nozzle slightly to help the solution fill the hose more easily. Once the machine sprays steadily, release the trigger. The machine will shut off automatically.
Confirm Flow
Tighten the nozzle and press the trigger again briefly to confirm full, steady flow with the proper spray pattern before starting your first bath.
Daily Use
Apply the Premix
Press the trigger to deliver your premix solution. The oxygenated flow lifts dirt and dander from the root of the coat outward. Work through the coat thoroughly.
Let It Sit
Allow suds to dwell for a few minutes for maximum cleaning effectiveness.
Rinse with Fresh Water
Rinse the coat with a separate clean water source (hose, bucket, or second spray tool). The Original is a shampoo-application system — rinse water is supplied separately.
Refill as Needed
The 14-gallon tank supports multiple baths before refilling. When the tank runs low, refill directly with your premix solution and continue.
End of Day — Cleanup
Empty the tank if shampoo solution will sit unused overnight. Leftover premix can leave residue or affect performance over time.
Flush the line: Fill the tank with clean water and run the machine briefly until clean water flows through the wand. This keeps the hose and pump clear.
Wipe down the exterior with a soft cloth to remove shampoo residue or water.
Power down and store in a clean, dry area.
