Our Salon System is optimal for stationary settings, bathing up to 15 dogs per day while our Encore System can more easily be used in a mobile setting bathing up to 5 dogs per day while using 3 gallon or 6 gallon auxiliary tanks with the option of hanging the unit on a wall.
Daily: Rinse inside the tank and remove hair from the external and internal filter.
Weekly: Fill the tank with 1 gallon of water and 1oz of vinegar. Prime your pump by putting the “in” valve on main tank and the “out” valve on mix shampoo. Leave running for a couple minutes. Next, turn the “out” valve to apply shampoo and spray the inside of the tank to clean the inner walls. Then spray the rest of the vinegar out into your tub. Finally, you MUST repeat these steps with regular water. Failure to rinse with water after cleaning will result in corrosion of your pump
Daily: Remove hair from the outside of the T filter in your external buckets and the internal blue mesh filter inside the T filter.
Weekly: Fill your external bucket with 1 gallon of water and 1oz of vinegar. Prime your pump by putting turning the valve to mix. Leave running for a couple minutes. Next, turn valve to apply and spray the rest of the vinegar out into your tub. Finally, you MUST repeat these steps with regular water. Failure to rinse with water after cleaning will result in corrosion of your pump.
For optimal cleaning, leave the shampoo on the dog for 4 minutes before rinsing off. This gives the surfactants in the shampoo enough time to bond with contaminants.
Prima Bathing Systems that are properly cared for can keep running for several years before the pump wears out. Much of the life expectancy relies on run time as well as environmental variables such as hardness of water.
Water will gradually cool to room temperature in approximately 4 hours.
The auxiliary line lets groomers easily switch between shampoos while bathing. The auxiliary line connects with the 3.5 or 6.5 gallon bucket. The auxiliary line is great for applying specialty treatments such as medicated shampoos, conditioners, or other medications. The auxiliary line can also be used for just rinsing, which will save you water.
