Legacy Series — Compact

Getting Started: EV2 (Encore V2)

Your compact, wall-mountable premix system. Follow these steps to get set up and bathing fast.

1

What’s in the Box

  • EV2 main unit

  • Wall mounting bracket + screws + threaded drywall sleeves

  • Two bound hoses (H2O + POD) and one separate hose (WND / sprayer wand)

  • Elbow fittings (only needed for freestanding use — not required for wall mount)

  • Sprayer wand with nozzle

  • Power cord

  • Premix bucket (or use your own)

2

Wall Bracket Installation

  • 1

Hold the bracket against the wall with the “TOP” marking facing up. Use a level to make sure it is plumb (straight up and down).

  • 2

For best strength, mount into a wall stud. If a stud is not available, use the included threaded drywall sleeves — drive them in with a Phillips screwdriver bit and drill.

  • 3

Install the top screw first, leaving it slightly loose so the bracket can hang naturally and find plumb on its own.

  • 4

Mark the bottom hole location, then swing the bracket out of the way. Install the drywall sleeve (if needed) or confirm stud position.

  • 5

Swing the bracket back into place, install the bottom screw, then tighten both screws securely.

3

Mounting the Machine

  • 1

Remove the small screw from the recessed hole at the bottom rear of the EV2 — this is where the unit locks onto the bracket.

  • 2

Lift the machine and align the rear of the housing with the installed wall bracket. The back of the housing is designed to nest around the bracket.

  • 3

Lower the machine so it slides down onto the bracket until it is fully seated.

  • 4

Reinstall the small screw into the recessed hole at the bottom and tighten securely. This locks the unit to the bracket and prevents it from lifting off.

4

Hose Connections

H2O

One of the two bound hoses. Connects your water supply (bucket) to the machine.

POD

The second of the two bound hoses. Also connects to your premix bucket.

WND

The separate hose. Connects to the sprayer wand.

  • 1

Connect the two bound hoses to the H2O and POD ports on the machine, and the other ends into your premix bucket.

  • 2

Connect the separate hose to the WND port and attach the other end to your sprayer wand.

  • 3

Push each hose firmly into its fitting until fully seated, then tug lightly to confirm it is secure.

Wall mounting tip: The elbow fittings included in the box are only needed for freestanding use. If you wall-mounted the unit, set the elbow fittings aside — you won’t need them.

Shampoo Setup (Premix Bucket)

The EV2 uses a premix system — you mix your shampoo with water in the bucket before connecting. The system is based on a 16:1 dilution baseline. If your shampoo has a higher dilution ratio, pre-dilute it in the bucket to match 16:1.

Not sure? Check the dilution ratio printed on your shampoo bottle. Fill the remainder of the bucket with clean water after adding shampoo. Shampoos below 16:1 concentration are not recommended — contact us first.

Priming the System

Before bathing, you need to prime both the water line and the shampoo line to purge any air.

  • 1

Power on the machine. Press the trigger on the wand to let air purge from the lines. Tip: loosen the nozzle slightly to create a stream rather than a spray — this helps water fill the system faster.

  • 2

Once the machine is spraying steadily, release the trigger. The machine will shut off automatically after a moment. Your water line is primed.

  • 3

Switch to Apply Mode. Begin spraying again with the nozzle slightly loosened. Once you see shampoo begin to flow, tighten the nozzle to increase pressure and widen the spray cone.

  • 4

If the machine starts to chug or pulse, the nozzle is too tight — loosen it slightly until the spray stabilizes. You’re now ready to bathe!

7

Daily Use

Apply Mode (Shampoo)

Start with the machine set to Apply. The oxygenated flow lifts dirt and dander from the root of the coat outward. Allow suds to sit for a few minutes before rinsing.

Switching Buckets

The quick-connect fittings let you swap premix buckets in seconds — ideal for switching between shampoo formulas for different coat types mid-session.

Rinsing

Switch off Apply to rinse. It takes a few seconds for shampoo to purge from the lines — this is normal. Continue spraying until the water runs clear.

Nozzle Pressure

Adjust pressure by turning the nozzle. Looser = more flow, less pressure. Tighter = wider cone spray. Never over-tighten or the machine will pulse.

8

End of Day

  1. Wipe down the exterior — use a soft cloth to remove any water, shampoo, or residue from the outside of the machine.
  2. Flush the shampoo line — remove the intake tube from your bucket and place it into a bucket of clean water. Switch to Apply Mode and spray for 15–30 seconds until only clean water flows through. This keeps your lines clear and prevents buildup.
  3. Power down and store in a clean, dry area.
